Not only did it install correctly, but it also worked perfectly without any complications. This is an officialDebian image build and so only includes Free Software. Although the installation took a long time, almost 45/50 minutes or more, probably due to the characteristics of the computer, I must say that I was amazed at how complete and fabulous Debian is. There is a claim that is possible, but the optical media will be required. But the start point is Ubuntu 32 bits that is not recognized either. After researching options I decided on Debian. Try to make a custom bootable USB stick - no documentation for Debian, only for Ubuntu. ![]() I tried different old Ubuntu versions but it didn't work. Win XP broke, finally I decided to try to revive the laptop and I thought of Linux. Hello ! I have a very old Acer Aspire 3690 laptop, with 1.5 Gb RAM and 80 HHDD, Win XP and 32 bit.
